Sporting Development Application

  • Overview

    Caboolture Sports Club's Sporting Development Fund provides major support to local sporting clubs in the Caboolture and surrounding regions every month. Funding is available to sporting clubs and association within our service region to help them build junior development programs, improve facilities and or purchase equipment to promote sport and a healthy and active lifestyle. Assistance available to organisations/groups will be assessed on an individual basis.


    To be eligible for Sporting Development Funding your organisation:
    1. Must be a registered not-for-profit sporting club or association that is based within, and or provides tangible services to, the community located within our defined community support area of divisions 1, 2, 3 & 12 of Moreton Bay Regional Council.
    2. May be an organisations/group from outside this area, however, preference is given to groups serving within the above mentioned divisional boundaries.
    3. May be an organisations/group from outside this area that provides emergency support or similar services to our local or another community, which at the discretion of Caboolture Sports Club's Management Committee, is deemed worthy of support.
    4. Cannot be a school or other educational institution.


    1. Applicants must demonstrate a need for financial assistance and provide detailed information on how the funding would be used to assist their club/association.
    2. The proposed recipient must acknowledge the assistance provided by Caboolture Sports Club.
    3. The proposed recipient must agree to provide information to the Caboolture Sports Club on the results that have been achieved as a result of the support provided and agree to this information being used to notify third parties at its discretion.
    4. Applicants must agree to participate in photographs or interviews with media and acknowledge the assistance provided by Caboolture Sports Club wherever possible.

    Applications for funding from our Sporting Development Fund are reviewed monthly. Please complete the form below if you meet the selection criteria.

    Outcome of application

    While all applications that meet the above-mentioned criteria will be considered by the Management Committee, some applications may not be successful. All applicants will receive written notification of the outcome of their application.

  • By submitting this application, the applicant or parent/guardian herein confirms that: (a) all of the information provided is to the best of your knowledge, accurate and truthful, and can be verified if required, (b) all necessary documents required to verify my selection/entry, and a relevant cost related to this event have been attached, (c) any financial assistance provided by Caboolture Sports Club will be used for the purpose stated in this application, (d) photographs submitted are free of copyright and may be forwarded on to relevant media to be considered for various sports articles, (e) information on event outcomes as a result of this grant may also be published in the Club’s magazine Community Connect, (f) should this application be successful, I must complete an event outcome form and return it to Caboolture Sports Club within seven days of the event.
