You really 'autumn' know
As we all start to settle into our new year rhythm, I know I’ve caught myself thinking quite a few times…how on earth is it Autumn already? The last three months at Cab Sports were a whirlwind of excitement and festive activities for both our members and the team, and we hope that you were able to join us on some of the summer fun.
We are so grateful that our members chose to join us for a range of events throughout the silly season, including our 25th birthday.
On behalf of myself and the team, we’d like to thank you for your support not only throughout the summer, but over the years as we celebrated 25 years of supporting the Caboolture community.
Although the Queensland weather may still be under the impression that it’s the hot season, we are well and truly ready to ‘fall’ into autumn and are excited to give our members a preview of what’s coming up!

Our very talented food and beverage team have curated a really exciting menu for you this season, celebrating a range of seasonal produce and flavours that are sure to make your tastebuds sing across our three dining outlets.
As always; The Mill, Laneway Café and Tempo have some seriously drool worthy monthly specials for you to try, and make sure to check out The Mill restaurant’s new member weekly deals!
We’re also really excited to debut Tempo’s new menu…featuring some incredible, mouth wateringly good food! If you’re a self-proclaimed condiments queen or king…we promise that Tempo’s new menu filled with cheesy, saucy goodness is yours to conquer!
If you want to get some catchy pop songs stuck in your head or enjoy a throwback sing along, then Tempo’s new cocktail and mocktail menu is for you! Featuring a range of flavours to suit all palettes, we’re certain you’ll find a new favourite…plus, they’re going to look so good on the gram!
Pop in to the venue to try them all, mix it up a bit with our monthly beverage specials! Cheers to that!
Autumn never disappoints as the events calendar seems to quickly fill up right before our eyes! And of course, we simply couldn’t resist taking inspiration from these events to provide our members with some really ‘egg-citing’ promotions!
Footy Faceoff
We’re showing some pride in our region this month as the Dolphins kick off to a fantastic start to the season with our feature March promotion, Footy Faceoff!
If you’ve visited us from the 26th February onwards…you’ve probably already earned yourself some entries. Make sure to join us on Sunday the 19th March and you could be one of the lucky 18 winners who will take home a cash prize!
Win a weekend for two at the NRL Magic Round
In keeping with our footy theme, we’re giving one lucky member the chance to win an incredible weekend away at the NRL Magic Round, valued at $3000. Included in the prize is a double pass to all 3x days of the Magic Round Competition at Suncorp Stadium, 3x nights’ accommodation at the 5 star Brisbane Marriott Hotel and $500 spending money! Have a shamrockin' good time this St Paddy's Day
Join us on Friday March 17th as the club turns green to celebrate St Patrick’s Day! Not only will we have a range of food and beverage specials available, we’ll also be helping members find a pot of gold with our Shamrocks & Shillelaghs cash giveaway! 5x winners will take home a cash prize, with $2K up for grabs for each winner! Now that sounds like a blarney good day!
A chocolatey ‘Egg-splosion!’
You loved it so much last year, that we couldn’t resist bringing this one back! Join us on Sunday the 2nd April for our Easter Egg-splosion! There’s 35x hampers filled with Easter goodies to be won valued over $4000! And the best part is…you don’t even have to buy your raffle tickets! Members will earn entries every day that you visit Cab Sports & swipe your membership card at the Diamond Rewards kiosks between 19th March – 2nd April. These points can then be transferred into raffle tickets on the 2x draw days on Sunday 26th March & Sunday 2nd April.
Visit the carrot patch for some carrot cash
With all the excitement of our Eggs-plosion raffles on the 2nd April, the Easter Bunny has put in a request for something healthy to snack on before he starts gearing up for a big delivery the following week. Join us on Sunday the 2nd April for your chance to win in our gaming promotion, ‘Carrot Cash.’ There’s over $9K up for grabs, and 7x lucky winners will be invited to visit our ‘carrot patch’ where they will pick as many carrots as they can before finding a rotten carrot to win a cash prize!
Labour Day Loot
Put the tools down on Monday the 1st May and enjoy the public holiday off with us! There’s $2K in cash prizes up for grabs for 5x lucky winners in the gaming lounge from 4pm – 6pm.
Special Raffles & Bingo
Whilst we continue to host our regular weekly raffles and bingo sessions throughout autumn, we’re really excited to offer our members some exciting additions to look forward to in the coming months.
On Easter Thursday, we will have 23x fresh seafood trays to be won valued at $50 each filled with prawns, oysters’ bugs and crabs to feast on over the Good Friday public holiday!
Bingo players – get ready for a very busy April! On Easter Sunday, our bingo team will have a $7K Super Session, complete with hot cross buns to snack on! The bingo team will then be hosting another $7K super session on ANZAC Day as they play some Two-Up Bingo, as well as their usual Tuesday evening session.
And finally, make sure you pop in to the club on Mother’s Day (Sunday 14th May) to celebrate mum and…if you’re lucky…take home one of our Mother’s Day luxury hampers, valued at $250 each.
What's new in entertainment
As always, we are very proud that we can offer our members and guests the best in entertainment for free or low cost. This autumn, there truly is something on offer for everyone! From our free events to our ticketed shows, we’re sure you’ll find the perfect event to enjoy a great night out with your family and friends!
Tribute Shows
Over the coming months, we’re showcasing a range of talented musicians from every era! Kicking off on March 11th, we’re calling all Millennials to gel your hair and put on your darkest eyeliner for the Blink-182 and Green Day Experience.
Following the rocky, punk sounds from the 90s and 2000s, we’re calling on our ABBA and Eurovision lovers to find your sparkly disco outfits as ARRIVAL perform a truly authentic revival of ABBA’s greatest hits on April 22nd.
And finally, for anyone that simply loves music…The Killer Queen Experience is not to be missed! You know the songs, you know the hairstyles…you know the moustache! Join us on Saturday 6th May to break free!
Free live bands and Caboolture Country
We understand that Saturday’s are for celebrating! Whether you’re kicking back and relaxing in our Sports Bar, or if you’re taking to the dance floor to celebrate the weekend – we’re really excited to feature live pop, rock & country bands throughout autumn. You can view our upcoming music calendar here to see who’s performing!
If you’re a fan of country tunes, then save these dates! 18th March features The Hicks, Saturday 8th April sees the Smokin’ Crawdads return to the club, and rounding off the season will be Griffin Country on the 20th May.
Shows & Events
After an incredibly popular tour to Caboolture in 2022, the Bad Boys Australia cast and crew are stopping by the club on March 31st. Coming up in April and May, comedian Mike Van Acker will be hosting some incredibly fun trivia nights, with Rom Com trivia on the 14th April and Friends trivia on the 5th May.
If you’re after a good laugh to warm you up as the weather cools down, then you won’t want to miss what we’ve got planned this season! After a sell-out show in February, we are pleased to bring back our Sit Down Comedy evenings, featuring Dusty Rich and Mandy Nolan on May 26th.
You’ve seen him on Fat Pizza, Housos and Bogan Hunters, the Cab Sports team is very excited to present Pauly Fenech’s Fighting Authority show on April 28th! Make sure to book fast, this one will sell out!
Mother’s Day Buffet Breakfast
Spoil mum this Mother’s Day with our very special Mother’s Day Buffet Breakfast on Sunday the 14th May. Treat mum to a day off & let us take care of the cooking and cleaning. Everyone’s brekky favourites will be on offer…and who doesn’t love a buffet, right?
Feature Poker Events
The WPT League will be hosting 2x public holiday feature events on Easter Monday (10th April) and Labour Day (1st May) with some great cash and prizes up for grabs. After you’ve enjoyed a sleep in, head in to the club for a 12pm game time to show off how good you can hold em’ and fold em.’
For the kids
There’s lots happening this autumn for the little ones, including our Kids Easter Party, changes to the kids club and new days to enjoy our Kids Eat Free specials.
As we all know, Sunday’s and Mondays are busy enough with getting everything ready for the week ahead! So we’re taking the stress out of early week meal prep as our Kids Eat Free specials are now available on Sunday and Monday evenings.
Make sure to book the little ones in for our Kids Easter Party on Saturday the 1st April. There will be Easter games, dancing and Easter crafts to enjoy…and maybe a special bunny might even pop in for a visit!
As you can see, there’s a whole lot of fun stuff to enjoy this Autumn at the club! We hope you take the opportunity to indulge in some of our food and beverage specials and enjoy some of the fantastic entertainment we’ve got lined up.
