The Club continues to monitor and assess new developments pertaining to COVID-19. The health and safety of our members and guests is our top priority.
We request that all members and guests evaluate their own health and that of people they are in close contact with and stay at home if they begin to feel unwell, even with mild symptoms such as a headache and slight runny nose.
For clarity, the Australian Government’s ban that ‘non-essential’ gatherings of more than 500 people, DOES NOT include the normal trading/operating practices of the hospitality sector, so business as usual for the CSC Group of venues.
We will be closely monitoring any updates to this policy.
However, you must not visit the clubs if any of the following apply:
1. You have been or transited through the following countries within the past 14 days: Mainland China; Iran; Republic of Korea; Italy; or
2. You have been in close contact with a person who has been diagnosed with COVID 19 or is displaying the symptoms of COVID-19.
3. You have travelled to another area and are showing symptoms of COVID-19.
All members and guests will be asked to confirm whether any of the above apply. If they do, they will be asked to leave the club.
In addition to the above, we are also putting in place the following important safety measures at our clubs. Disinfecting registration counters and floors continuously throughout operating hours. Thoroughly disinfecting all chairs, tables, linen and utensils before and after use. Offering hand sanitiser at all check-in counters, on each outlet table and in the bathrooms.
Please note that our staff have also been requested not to attend work if any of the above apply.
We encourage our members to adhere to the following important safety measures that the World Health Organisation have recommended to limit the spread of COVID-19. Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Maintain at least 1-meter distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing. Avoid physical contact when greeting. Safe greetings include a wave, a nod or a bow. Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. Cover your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Immediately dispose of the used tissue.
Thank you so much for continuing
to support CSC community clubs and staff.
