Kyarnee and Fletcher Young have a bright future ahead of them in the sport of BMX.
Both competed in the Queensland State Titles recently and then travelled to New Zealand to compete at the North Island Titles in Auckland.
Kyarnee competed in the Girl’s 9yr 20 inch and Girl’s 8-18yrs Cruiser classes at both events.
In the State Titles this Rising Star recipient successfully made the finals in both classes and finished second overall across the board.
In New Zealand she took out each race in the 20 inch division but crashed out in the final, putting her in 7th overall. The cruiser class landed Kyarnee a third place overall.
Fletcher raced in the Boy’s 12yr 20 inch division and also in the Boy’s 11-12yr Cruiser classes in both the Queensland and New Zealand tournaments.
He made it up to the semi-finals in both classes at both events.
New Zealand was where Fletcher showed his talents, finishing third overall in the Cruiser class and 14th overall in the 20 inch division.
