Caboolture Sports Club will again be helping to put smiles on the faces of children across the state with the Club’s 7th Annual Charity Golf Day at Caboolture Golf Club on Friday July 22nd.
The popular event is expected to attract over 140 players to take part in a fun-filled day while helping raise funds for the Starlight Foundation and other local charities.
Event organiser Matt Rafton said already interest in the event was pointing to it being bigger and better than ever.
“We are very lucky to again have the support of Keystar Autoworld as our major sponsor who have been fantastic supporters of the event over a number of years”, he said.
“Keystar will again provide one of the highlights of the day with the chance to win a brand new car if any player can score a hole in one on the fourth hole. There will also be other fun and activities throughout the course on the day with BBQs, raffles, a charity auction and giveaways for all players.
"Over the past six years, the event has raised more than $60,000 for children’s charities, with last year’s beneficiaries including the construction of a children’s fairy garden at Caboolture Hospital. Last year we raised more than $14,000 from the day and we’re hoping to improve on that figure again this year.”
A limited number of Team Sponsorship packages are still available which include golf for four people, motorised carts, food, drinks and even a prize for each player.
