Caboolture Sports Club has continued its award-winning year by receiving two coveted Caboolture Region Excellence in Business Awards.
The Club was named Restaurant/Hotel of the Year and also took out one of the major awards of the night, Macro Business of the Year.
The Awards are designed to highlight businesses and employees within the Caboolture Region who have excelled in their industry.
Businesses can be nominated for the awards by the general public, other local business owners and visitors to the region. Nominated businesses are then shortlisted as finalists based on how they meet the selection criteria for ‘excellence’ in their industry.
The independent judging panel, drawn from relevant business disciplines, then selects the most ‘excellent’ business in each category.
Caboolture Sports Club was last awarded Caboolture Region Macro Business of the Year in 2007.
Club Secretary Manager Kelvin Patch said given the other excellent businesses named as finalists, it truly was a great honour just to be nominated for the awards.
“Each year the Club grows from strength to strength and we have a staff of almost 200 people who put in a lot of time and a lot of effort to ensure that the Club continues to provide our members with outstanding customer service and first class facilities,” he said.
“It is very rewarding just to receive a nomination in the Hotel/Restaurant category, but to bring back two awards is simply phenomenal.
"We must also acknowledge the ongoing support of our members and this award is for them to enjoy."
