Caboolture Sports Club's annual Charity Golf Day will this year help provide a place to stay for those most in need, with funds raised supporting local charity Family Haven to extend their crisis housing facilities.
Established in the late 1970s, one of Family Haven key projects is Martin's Haven - a five-bedroom house with two self-contained flats on two acres of land, with an aim to purchase another two houses to add to the property over the next year.
Charity Golf Day organiser Matt Rafton said the event, now in its eighth year, would be played at Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club on Friday July 27th, with more than 140 players keen to take to the tee.
"Thanks to Shadforth Financial Group, players will be teeing up on the 13th hole for the chance to win a brand new car," he said.
"Plus, there will also be plenty of fun activities throughout the course with all players enjoying a round of golf with a motorised cart, players' bags, food and beverages, and prizes for each player at the end of the day."
All inclusive sponsorship and team packages for the golf day are available for businesses from $495 which includes a team of four players. For details call Matt Rafton on 5497 9711.
